Filters in Digital Photography
One of the issues on which there is some confusion when it comes to digital photography is about what filters are recommended to use a digital camera. There is a perception that everything can be done in Photoshop , but this is not true. There are two types of filters that are difficult to replicate in post-production effects (unless fitting techniques are used in several shots). These are the Neutral Gradient Filter and Lens Hood .
Gradient Filter Neutral
Curiously enough is a filter unknown (and underutilized) among fans of photography. The most commonly used format is the Cokin , rectangular in shape. At the top has a neutral gray gradient and the bottom is clear. There are different gradient densities (as neutral gray filters) depending on the amount of light you want to block. There is a little-used variant that has a reverse gradient, ie, the gray area in the center of the filter and the gradient occurs both above and below.
Polarizer Filter
The Polarizer filter is another essential for Digital Photography . Light behaves as a wave form that propagates in a straight line and consists of two components: an electric and a magnetic traveling at 90 degrees relative to each other. In certain circumstances (as when the light hits water or glass, or in the upper atmosphere) one of the two components is eliminated in the process. We then say that the light is polarized (one axis or another). Polarizer filter is precisely what makes the other remaining component filter, completely eliminating polarized light.

The latent image
Digital photography is great, you take photos like hotcakes and if you mess up, you can always throw another photo, I have my computer full of images, many of them repeatedly with different exposures. When I go to take pictures, do not discriminate at all, and shooting everything that moves (or not)!
Unlike most people who are fond of photography, I never had a camera or as a child or teenager, and my interest is due more to a job that recreational or artistic. when you finally buy a camera I own, opt for a low-end digital SLRs. Then I was hooked, I go with her everywhere, my friends look bad when they see me coming with it. My partner often tells me not to fuck her, which only went out for coffee, but that’s not reason enough to choose to let it rest, since the purchase have not left almost no day without it.
The problem with such fotografitis attack is that as stated before, do not discriminate anything, any topic is good for a photo, if not better, I think I managed to delete it after all …
All this previous explanation comes, I have given an analog SLR camera … this I plug it in and see what I did wrong, I can not look at the photo shoot and if not well taken, take it again, this I have to load a cartridge of film every 24 exposures … I have to take the reels to reveal and when I get copies I can not expand to almost infinity for all the details that the current megapixel gets! if I did something wrong, until they give me copies in the store developer will not see it fail, in order to hit a lot of that today, I would not have a modern digital camera.
But I’m happy with that camera, I will spend many euros, and I will take a lot of trouble, but I think if you really want to learn to properly handle a camera, the analog method, is that more patience will teach me … and may go back in time and be the child that if they had a camera …
